Anastasia Edouard (2nd Grade)

Ms. Edouard was born in New Jersey but moved to the southside of Atlanta in 2000. She earned a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of West GA in 2015. She is currently back at UWG to earn her Masters in Media Specialist w/ a concentration in Instructional Technology. This 2019-2020 school year will be her 5th year teaching.

As an educator, Ms. Edouard believes having a great rapport with students is the foundation of a successful classroom. She believes her role as the teacher is to assist each child in developing their own potential and learning styles. Her philosophy regarding education is that students’ minds are not empty vessels waiting to be filled. Each one of them brings their own particular brand of genius to her classroom. It is her desire to create the type of atmosphere where students can meet their full potential.

In her spare time, Ms. Edouard likes to go on new adventures, work out, watch movies, and spend time with her family and friends. Her latest adventure was hang gliding in North Georgia this summer. Ms. Edouard is looking forward to an amazing school year at the Academy of Scholars!”
