Brittney Jackson

Author, educator and mentor Brittney Holmes Jackson hails from Stone Mountain, Georgia. A state-certified teacher, she discovered her passion for working with children while attending the University of Georgia in Athens. She has 6+ years of educational experience working with students from elementary through middle school.

Mrs. Jackson received Bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Psychology while attending the University of Georgia, but it was her work as an Afterschool Program Coordinator at a local community center that helped her discover her love of challenging and developing young minds. As a Teach for America alumnae, Mrs. Jackson is dedicated to closing the achievement gap one student at a time. A certified educator in Georgia and Florida, Mrs. Jackson is currently pursuing Master’s degrees in Family Therapy and Education.
 
Mrs. Jackson is a two-time National Best Selling author of 5 young adult Christian fiction novels. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with her family and friends.
