Chaundra Suddith

Mrs. Chaundra Suddith holds a BA degree from Agnes Scott College in Biology/Pre-Med with a minor in Environmental and Sustainability Studies. She has also earned a M.Ed degree in Elementary Education, a M.Ed degree in Special Education from Lesley University, and an Education Specialist (Ed.S) degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College. She has taught for over 9 years in both public and private education.

Mrs. Suddith’s passions are teaching mathematics and science. She holds certifications in Math, Science, Social Science, Reading, and English-Language Arts. She has experience as a content lead, curriculum writer, and an instructional guide for both STEM and general studies.

In her teaching capacity, Mrs. Suddith has led professional development seminars on classroom management and problem-based learning. She finds joy in creating hands-on and differentiated instruction that caters to the needs of her students. Mrs. Suddith is a trained instructor in Expeditionary Learning under the Restorative Justice framework model. She is a founding teacher of Green Street Academy of Baltimore, MD, founding member of the Environmental and Sustainability Initiative at Agnes Scott College, GA, and inaugural teaching intern for the UrbanWatch Atlanta and UrbanWatch Ecological Restoration Outreach Program at Fernbank Musuem of Atlanta, GA.

Mrs. Suddith’s passion for teaching and her ability to foster relationships with students has allowed her to exceed projected expectations in the classroom. She is a strong advocate for closing the achievement gap. Mrs. Suddith truly believes that inquiry-based learning is fundamental in helping students develop a mindset that will allow them to be curious learners and critical thinkers. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and cooking.
