School Closed through Tuesday, March 31

We pray that everyone in the AOS community is safe, healthy, and taking the advice of the CDC, public health, and government officials to avoid the impact of COVID-19.  In keeping with Governor Brian Kemp’s order that all Georgia public schools be closed through March, we will be closed  through Tuesday, March 31.  Additionally, this year’s standardized testing of the Stanford Achievement Test Series – Tenth Edition (SAT-10) has been cancelled.  This situation is ever-evolving and we are taking every precaution so that we may do our part to help mitigate and eradicate the spread of this infectious disease in our community.

During this hiatus, teachers will continue to engage scholars through our online resources.  It is our hope to help facilitate a meaningful academic experience for our scholars during this challenging time; however, it is not our intention to add undue stress on parents in accomplishing this goal.  Please communicate with your scholar’s teacher directly if you are having any challenges.

Our prayers are with all members of our school community in this time of social distancing and we look forward to a return to normalcy when we are able to return to campus again.
