Demesha Foster (Physical Education)


Ms. Foster is originally from Birmingham, Alabama. In 2017, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Georgia Southern University. She is currently pursuing her Master of Arts Degree in Teaching Health and Physical Education at Georgia State University. She has spent the past two years educating students to live a more healthy, balanced, and active lifestyle.

Ms. Foster is a self-motivated, certified educator whose vision is to ignite the cognitive and physical development of every student. She believes in using a transfer of learning subconsciously to students during enjoyable yet educational activities. Her mission is to empower and educate students to reach their full potential as students. Ms. Foster believes by students learning the necessary skills and knowledge needed to live a healthy balanced lifestyle, with mental clarity they will become productive adults with the same great habits. With a high faith and trust in the Lord, Ms. Foster is excited to walk in her purpose and be a part of The Academy of Scholars family.

In her spare time, Ms. Foster enjoys attending church, practicing self-care, weight training, new movie premieres, sports, traveling, and quality time with friends and family.
