Ms. Bryant is originally from Gainesville, Florida, and attended Florida A&M University. She graduated from FAMU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Education. She moved to the Atlanta area a year ago. Ms. Bryant has worked in education for 4 years, teaching math to 6th and 7th graders and mainly working with lower-level and at-risk children while providing exceptions to Individual Education Plans.
She is currently completing her second year of her master’s degree at Capella University in Marriage and Family Therapy where she is a member of Delta Kappa International Marriage and Family Therapy Honor Society. After the completion of her degree, she will be entering the counseling field as a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) and working as a school counselor. Ms. Bryant believes that children can accomplish anything with the correct support from parents, teachers, faculty, and staff.
In her downtime, she visits Florida to see her family, spends time with her fiancé (wedding planning), crafts, facilitates a mental health group, and is working on a children’s book about expressing feelings. She looks forward to a rewarding upcoming school year at The Academy of Scholars.
