Kelly Oxendine

Mrs. Oxendine is a dedicated educator who is ready to unleash a world full of knowledge and learning. Mrs. Oxendine’s vision is for every child to embark on an exciting learning adventure that is filled with rich experiences, multiple achievements, academic enrichment, and everlasting friendships while building strong parent-student and parent-teacher relationships.  She has always had a passion for teaching young children while making learning fun, innovative, energetic, personable, and engaging.

Mrs. Oxendine is a state-certified teacher going into her 13th year of education. She is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. She moved to Georgia in 2008 and has been impacting young minds ever since.  Mrs. Oxendine graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications.  She received an Elementary Education degree at Cleveland State University in 2008. In 2010, she earned a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and in 2014, she received her TAG (talented and gifted) Certification.

In addition to teaching, Mrs. Oxendine loves to play many sports, watch movies, listen to music, sing, dance, exercise, shop, travel, and spend time with her family. Mrs. Oxendine is looking forward to an “AWARD WINNING” school year!
