Ms. Kyndra Clark is a native of Decatur, Georgia, and is a true southern belle at heart. Ms. Clark pursued her Bachelor of Science degree from Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama where she studied Elementary Education. Ms. Clark taught as a multi-grade teacher for 3rd and 4th grade for two years at a private, Seventh-Day Adventist school in Lithonia, Georgia. She then taught as a kindergarten teacher for two years in Gwinnett County Public Schools where she was nominated as “Teacher of the Year” by her colleagues.
Ms. Clark’s role model and biggest influence is her mother who was also a teacher. Her mother taught her in the seventh grade and helped her to foster a genuine love and passion for the education field. Ms. Clark understands that teaching young minds is a task that cannot be taken lightly. She strongly believes that all children are capable of learning if they have the proper motivation and direction from their teacher. Ms. Clark believes in maintaining a clean, structured, and organized classroom that is a comfortable environment for her students and a welcoming environment to the parents. Ms. Clark also believes in teaching her students valuable life lessons for them to carry with them wherever they go.
In her free time, Ms. Clark loves to spend time with her family, listen to music, and style her hair. She is excited to be a part of the AOS family and looks forward to having an amazing school year!
