Marissa Williams

Ms. Williams is a graduate of Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a minor in Psychology. She was first introduced to teaching as a long-term substitute. Her love for children then grew into her pursuing her certification in the education field and shortly after teaching middle grades.

Teaching middle grades taught Ms. Williams the value of classroom management and organization early on. She believes in instilling confidence in her students, so they are more likely to succeed in their academics and in life. Ms. Williams’ goal for her new scholars is for them to know that she believes in them, but more importantly, to ensure they believe in themselves.

When she is not teaching, Ms. Williams enjoys reading, journaling, and socializing with friends.
