Gabrielle Burrough (6th Grade)

Miss Burrough grew up in Melbourne, Florida, where she became inspired to become a
teacher. With both parents being teachers, Miss Burrough was easily motivated to grow a love
for learning from a young age. She worked as a camp counselor every summer for seven years
and from that experience, learned how much she loved engaging young minds. Miss Burrough
believes that getting to know each student’s individual personality builds a more motivated
learner!

Miss Burrough graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary
Education, and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Florida State University.
During her time student teaching, Miss Burrough experienced a large range of grade levels and
students from kindergarten to sixth grade. She is more than excited to begin her teaching journey
here at AOS!

When Miss Burrough is not teaching, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, as
well as working out and being active. She also loves to go to the park with her dog, Cooper.
