Dear AOS Parents,
We are off to an incredible start to the 2022-2023 school year! The school year started with the recommendation that all students and staff wear masks indoors to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. With a few of our scholars testing positive and having to quarantine at home, the Labor Day holiday and Grandparents Day approaching, the “mask-required indoors” policy will remain in effect until Friday, September 9th, 2022.
Starting Monday, September 12th, 2022, our vaccination and mask policy will be “recommended but optional”. We will continue to monitor the impact of COVID-19 in our community and the greater Atlanta area. As we make decisions about our response to COVID-19, we will always keep in mind what we believe best meets the needs of our community.
