From a very young age, Ms. India Boyd dreamed of becoming a teacher. Her philosophy is to instill a love for learning in every young child she teaches. She believes that by allowing children to explore, asking questions, and working independently and in groups, they will be prepared to achieve success in all future endeavors.
Ms. Boyd graduated from Clark Atlanta University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She says, “The Academy of Scholars’ use of technology, the one-to-one teacher/student relationships, the hands-on activities, and the belief in making sure every child succeeds is what sold me on wanting to teach here.”
Ms. Boyd is from Louisville, Georgia. She attended college on a full sports scholarship and ran track and field for four years. In her spare time, she enjoys working out and conducting community service projects with her sorority.
