Mari Aurino

Coding/Computer Science Teacher

Mari Aurino is originally from Flint, Michigan. She believes that each scholar is an individual with unique characteristics that teachers must acknowledge. Mrs. Aurino received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from The University of Michigan.

As an educator for 13 years, she has held many positions. She is experienced with teaching varied grade levels from primary through middle school, ESL, and Spanish. Mrs. Aurino is honored to be at The Academy of Scholars teaching coding and computer science to our scholars.

In her spare time, Mrs. Aurino enjoys running, reading, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys spending time with her dog, Lola.
