During the Covid-19 pandemic, we focus on the children in order to help protect and nurture them during an uncertain time. But we at The Academy of Scholars also know that the parents of our scholars are very important. This is why on Friday, April 24th, we presented a free online webinar for parents, to offer them support and ideas on how to parent in a pandemic.
Psychologist Dr. Wendy Bailey was our guest speaker. Dr. Bailey is a Georgia Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years experience in Clinical Psychology. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Psychology from Spelman College and a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology from Emory University. Dr. Bailey is also a mother of 5 and a loving wife to her husband of 29 years.
